About Us

Mr. Kevin Traynor was born and raised in Dublin Ireland and immigrated to the United States in his 20’s to complete his doctoral work.  In addition to teaching piano, he performs for private parties and plays for weddings, anniversaries, funerals, corporate events, etc.  He composes music and has two C.D.s of his music available.  Mr. Traynor was selected to be a 2007 Artist-in-Residence at Rocky Mountain National Park

Mrs. Angela Traynor was born and raised in Kansas.  She studied music with Charles Bruffy, Artistic Director of the Kansas City Chorale. She teaches piano and plays for weddings, anniversaries, funerals, etc.  She is available as a vocal soloist.

Our Lessons

The Traynors offer individualized piano lessons in the student’s home.  This arrangement offers many advantages to the student and family, among them are:

  • Young students are most comfortable at home, in familiar surroundings.
  • Other children in the family do not have to wait in a waiting room or in the car while one student is having a lesson.
  • No one needs to transport the student to the teacher’s studio.
  • The student never forgets their books!
  • Adult students are also more comfortable learning at home rather than in a studio.

There are many more advantages that each student and family will discover as they have lessons in their own home, with their piano.

Piano lessons are 30 minute, 45 minute, or 60 minute lessons, each week.  The student’s age, ability, maturity, and determination are some of the factors that will help the teacher decide if it is appropriate to allow a student to advance to a longer lesson time.

Piano lessons are once a week, year round.  Each September, the Traynors announce, and post on the website, their vacation times for the coming year.
